摘要
The work aims at the three-dimensional computations of eddy-current distribution using the finite element method. The method of discretisation of the Maxwell equations is based on the application of geometrical analysis for description of currents and voltages associated with geometrical forms of a finite element, i.e. faces and edges. The considerations are carried out for a cuboidal hexahedral element in arbitrary system of coordinates. The formulation for the modified magnetic vector potential is used. The example presented regards determination of the rotor-end factor for a solid-rotor induction motor.
