Copolymerization of canonic polyacrylamide as paper strength agent

摘要
Studies in this paper were the factors that influenced the copolymerization of DMC and acrylamide,such as monomer concentration, cationic monomer content, temperature, transfer agent dosage, initiation. The relationship between time and conversion was also studied. The result showed that temperature and transfer agent play more important roles to the agent. Low temperature and quantity of isopropyl alcohol can make CPAM increase paper strength better.
