摘要
Three-phase Inductive Power Transfer (IPT) systems can be employed to decrease the magnetic field in comparison to single-phase systems of equal power, which increases the power density with respect to regulatory limits. Nonetheless, only single-phase systems can be found as reference devices in recent standardization documents, such as SAE J2954. Thus, the interoperability of prospective three-phase systems to current single-phase systems is crucial for their adoption in the electric vehicle (EV) market. A preceding design study proposed a three-phase secondary side with a three-phase to three-phase power transfer capability of 30 kW and magnetic interoperability to the recent SAE J2954 11 kW (WPT3) single-phase primary devices. This paper focuses on the electric interoperability analysis of the proposed delta-type design using electric and magnetic simulations. By employing FEA, the system is analyzed at aligned and misaligned positions. Electrical simulations are performed to evaluate the electrical interoperability between the proposed secondary side and SAE J2954 primary devices.
