摘要
Evaluation of the acute coronary syndrome extends beyond the traditional history and physical, electrocardiogram, and serum-cardiac enzymes. Noninvasive evaluation of the patient with suspected ischemic heart disease may include echocardiography, nuclear scintigraphy, and exercise or chemical stress testing. The latter may be done in combination with echocardiographic or radioisotope scanning. The benefits and limitations of the available tests are discussed.
