摘要
We overview recent progress in reservoir computing and decision making using complex laser dynamics. We demonstrate reservoir computing using a photonic integrated circuit with optical feedback. We introduce a scheme for multiple semiconductor lasers placed in parallel for improving the performance of reservoir computing. We also perform decision making for solving the multi-armed bandit problem using lag synchronization of chaos in mutually coupled semiconductor lasers.
