A Variable dc-link Three-phase Converter: Topology and Modulation

摘要：
This paper propose a modulation strategy for a hybrid converter compound by a Flying Capacitor Converter and a 2-level Voltage Source Inverter. The proposed modulation strategy uses a state machine to balance the inner voltage in the Flying Capacitor part of the topology. The simulation results show a fast and stable behavior with a best harmonic spectrum and less total losses in comparison with the standard 2-level Voltage Source Inverter.
