摘要
The radial force sum flattening for the vibration and acoustic noise reduction in switched reluctance motors have been reported to be effective in some cases. This paper provides an investigation of effective conditions of the radial force sum flattening. Examples of three switched reluctance motors for traction and industrial applications are presented. These three-phase motors were characterized by the acoustic noise which spectrums have significant components at the multiple of the third harmonic, such as 3(rd), 6(th), 9(th), and 12(th) harmonics, when these motors were excited by the conventional square current. In addition, these motors were fixed to the side wall.
