WineNote: an IoT project to enhance the wine taste

摘要
During the wine maturation process, cellar masters have to regularly check the wine level in their barrels to find out if it has decreased. This operation induces a major concern: the product oxidation happening while opening their barrels. Besides, this action is time-consuming, as there are hundreds of barrels in a warehouse. In this context, the purpose of the WineNote project is therefore the estimation of the level using a completely non-invasive method. WineNote aims at introducing a new connected object that uses the barrel resonance. This way, cellar masters will be able to know when to top up their barrels without oxidizing their wine. They will only have to open the application using their smartphones or their computers. In this paper, we propose to present the IoT system which have been developed, and then to focus our attention on the software (signal processing algorithms) and hardware design of the node.
