摘要
Constructing lightweight, thin matching thickness, wide absorption bandwidth and strong absorbers is promising way to solve problems of electromagnetic pollution. As an important ferrite, MFe2O4 (M = Fe, Co, Mn, Zn, Ni, etc.) attracts wide attention for its unique spinel crystalline structure and excellent electromagnetic properties. This article reviews the recent progress of the spinel structured MFe2O4, including synthesis methods, microstructures and the effects of different components (such as carbonaceous materials, metallic compounds, conducting polymer, MXene, etc.) on the morphology and microwave absorption performances. The mechanisms of these systems, current challenges and possible perspectives are also summarized in the article.
