Education of post-graduate students in social sciences and humanities

Education of post-graduate students in social sciences and humanities presents results of an experts' poll on the issue of research staff training in the institutions of post-graduate professional education. The findings demonstrate common and specific views of the situation with natural sciences, as against that of social sciences and humanities (with an accent on sociologists training). Conclusions of the study are centered around the quality of theses, duration of postgraduate terms, factors for training quality and its contents, criteria of post-graduate students work quality evaluation, and the optimal range of post-graduate competences.
