摘要
Elderly care systems are among the most popular research topics in biomedical embedded systems design as aging has emerged in different countries and selected areas of the world. However, current products are either too bulky or overly simple in functionality. Therefore, a comprehensive fall detection system for elderly care is proposed in this paper. The system comprises of wearable integrated accelerometers. Without loss of generality, the system can also be used for exercise pattern recording, and users' movements monitoring.
