摘要
This paper proposes a pulse-width modulation with both variable pulse-width and asymmetric pulse position. Combined with conventional phase-shift control, the extended PWM is applied on a dual-bridge resonant converter (DBRC) to regulate power. Along the developed extended minimum current trajectory the DBRC can have a same full ZVS operation range as the conventional symmetric PWM-based minimum current trajectory and loses ZVS of only one switch at light load. Experimental results proved the accuracy and effectiveness of proposed minimum current operation with wide ZVS range and show the improvement of overall conversion efficiency.
