摘要
The mathematical model of the innovative power supply system for electric arc steel smelting furnaces of alternating current with the converter "constant current constant voltage" and the results of its studying in non symmetrical modes with using a three-dimensional probabilistic model of stochastic load are given in the paper. The comparative analysis of the obtained indicators with the data lbr the convenient furnace power scheme was conducted. It has been obtained that in both supply schemes non symmetrical load leads to the decreasing of the expected value of useful power that released in the main kiln area. However, with the converter "constant current constant voltage'' the useful power is 20-22% higher. It is also shown that the average probabilistic value of arc's negative -sequence current in the conventional power scheme of a furnace is 2.6-3.4 times higher This causes losses increasing in the short grid and electrodes on average 12%.
