A visual model of bubble motion, deformation and coalescence in a flowing foam

摘要：
The aim of the research is to produce a visual kinematic model of a flowing foam that can be used as the basis for a visual flotation control system. This is done by making use of a combination of Laplace's equation and algorithms for producing realistic shaped bubbles and which describe bubble coalescence. The results obtained from the dynamic model are compared with results obtained from an experimental cell.
