Dielectric relaxation spectroscopy techniques, covering broad ranges of frequency (10(-3) - 10(9) Hz) and temperature (77 - 400 K) are used to study the mechanisms of molecular mobility and phase separation in interpenetrating polymer networks of polyurethane and butylmethacrylate-triethylene glycol dimethacrylate copolymer. Two relaxation processes were observed in the dielectric measurements: the secondary beta-relaxation (due to copolymer) and alpha-relaxation due to the glass-rubber transition of polyurethane (PUR) phase. The temperatures of primary transitions of IPNs were obtained using volume dilatometry measurements.
