摘要
This article allows us to know the perceptions regarding the development of parental skills that parents of children with disabilities have, through the collection of qualitative and quantitative information carried out with the e2p Positive Parentality Scale, developed and validated by the Ideas for the Foundation Children of Chile, in a population of 106 representatives of children with different types of disabilities, students of two Specialized Educational Institutions "La Floresta and Francisco De Orellana Educational Unit", this being a non-probabilistic sample based on a field research with descriptive scope, It is worth mentioning that the results allow establishing the relationships between the four competences evaluated at the applied scale (linking, training, protection and reflection), as well as determining the most frequent behaviors related to the competences and roles of parents in relation to parenting and contributions in the development of their children with disabilities.
