摘要：
Recent developments in fast computed tomography (CT) scanning and magnetic resonance (MR) imaging techniques have enabled accurate, noninvasive diagnosis of both acute and chronic thromboembolism, This chapter reviews the radiographic, CT, and MR imaging features of these diseases; discusses current thinking regarding the roles of these modalities in the diagnosis of pulmonary thromboembolic disease; and suggests a diagnostic algorithm for incorporating fast CT scanning into the evaluation of patients with suspected acute pulmonary emboli.
