The hydrothermal synthesis of nanostructure TiO2 powders co-doped with Fe and N and their antibacterial activities under the irradiation of visible light

摘要
Using TiOSO4 as precursor, Fe(NO3)(3)center dot 9H(2)O and CN3H5 center dot HCl as the source of Fe and N, respectively, nanostructure TiO2 powders have been prepared by hydrothermal synthesis. The as-prepared powders were characterized by XRD, BET and UV-Vis spectrophotometer. The nanostructure TiO2 Powders co-doped with Fe and N were composed of anatase and showed light-yellow in color. The grain size was about 10 nm by Scherrer's method and the specific surface area was ranged from 135m(2)/g to 150 m(2)/g. The UV-Vis diffuse reflection spectra indicated that the absorption edges of the co-doped TiO2 powders were red-shifted into visible light region. The colony counting method was used to study the sterilization performance of co-doped TiO2 via E. coli under visible light irradiation.
