The areas of technology development after implementation of EN ISO 9001:2000 quality management system

The quality management systems in companies are often drivers for technological change. The most common areas of development are: internal communication, data processing and production technology. The implementation process of the quality management systems is sometimes the start to the new phase of company development. Getting new tools for communication and decision making, managers gain time and suitable, proper insight into company problems, which can be invested in focusing on most attractive areas for increasing effectiveness. In small and medium size companies managers often decide to implement network solutions for better management of internal production or service processes. There are some examples of CRM implementation after the analysis of customer satisfaction, which was the task carried out due to quality management standard requirements. The product development due to increased customer expectations must be done through investments in machines, tools and high quality measuring tools. All these aspects show that implementation of quality management system can be seen as a factor resulting in company development.
