摘要：

This paper explores, through a systematic literature review, the applicability of lean management in mining companies. It is observed that adoption is driven by the existence of pressures and the presence of facilitating agents, the existence of barriers and leaders are taken into account as determining factors. It is concluded that in large companies around the world, the previous implementation of other management tools facilitates the implementation of lean tools, and that despite the differences with other sectors, it is possible to improve the efficiency of the mining industry through lean management.
