摘要
Multi-layered nanosheets with controllable layer numbers may feature intrinsic physicochemical properties distinct from their single-layered counterparts. In this issue of Chem Catalysis, Ma and colleagues propose a new synthesis protocol to fabricate double-layered transition metal hydroxide nanosheets in bulk quantity, which exhibit intrinsically higher electrocatalytic activity than their single-layered counterparts for oxygen evolution reaction.
