摘要
In this paper, we wish to report the synthesis of silica-supported azo-linked Schiff base Cu(II) complex from the one pot reaction of arylazosalicylaldehyde with silica gel activated 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane and copper acetate. The as synthesized material was completely characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), Solid UV-Vis DRS, X-ray diffraction studies (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), EDX and N-2 adsorption-desorption analysis (BET). Then the catalytic activity of the synthesized silica-supported azo-linked Schiff base Cu(II) complex was studied through efficient catalytic activity for Suzuki-Miyaura cross coupling reactions of various aryl halides with phenylbornic acid in green media.
