摘要：
Conventional edge detection algorithms suffer from the shortcomings of undetected and artificial information. The article introduces the grey prediction model and proves the application of grey system theory in image processing. We now propose an improved methord based on grey model, for improving consideraby the performance of image edge detection. The simulation result shows that our method can detcet the edge of image efficiently, and it provides new tools for the image processing research.
