Fault analysis of six phase power system using six phase symmetrical components

摘要
The use of six-phase for power transmission was investigated and tested as an alternative to three phase transmission. High phase order (HPO) transmission systems are those designed to transmit more than three phases of electrical power normally six phases. A few studies had encountered the fault analysis of the six-phase system with the six symmetrical voltage and currents. In this article, the method of symmetrical components is used to analyze the 23 significant fault types that call occur oil the six-phase transmission line with the six symmetrical voltage and current components encountered.
