摘要
In this paper, a series of consolidated undrained triaxial tests, considering four confining pressures (i.e. 50, 100, 200 and 400 kPa), have been performed to investigate the effects of zeolite on the triaxial behaviour of cemented sands. The cement was added to the sand at 4 and 8% (dry weight). Also, natural zeolite was used as an additive to the mixture, and added at 0 and 30% (optimum) by weight of cement. On the basis of the results, it was indicated that the inclusion of zeolite led to increasing the shear strength and peak axial stress. Moreover, the elastic modulus of specimens increased by increasing the cement content as well as the addition of zeolite. Finally, it has been shown that the initial stiffness and peak strength improved by increasing the cement content.
