摘要：

In this paper, the basic algorithm of LORETA (Low Resolution Electromagnetic Tomography) in localizing the electric activity within the brain volume including the cortical surface based on EEG data collected from the scalp electrodes is proposed. Furthermore, the cortical-LORETA is improved for the localization of sources on the real shaped cortex surface, and validated using computer model. Based on the widely used four-shell spherical head model, the inverse solutions of EEG are extensively investigated, and promising localization ability is demonstrated by numerical results.
