Future horizons for E-management of manufacturing industry

Modem manufacturing concepts require new approaches. Therefore, flexible goals for the problems with alternative possibilities and strategies for specific solutions are important. This paper introduces the rising needs, working principles, research environment, development, and international role models for E-Manufacturing Systems in Pakistan. A rise and fall comparison of E-Manufacturing Systems of developed countries depicts the very basic need to initiate such systems in Pakistan. An overview of Pakistani industry utilizing e-manufacturing system depicts the present stage of the topic. The paper enlightens the future horizons of the e-manufacturing industry. A prototype E-Manufacturing Systems is also presented and particular emphasis is put on the execution supervision of the enterprise's plan of business processes.
