摘要
The activity coefficients of La and Pr dissolved in liquid Pb were determined by the electromotive force (EMF) measurement of the galvanic cell, Ln (solid)vertical bar LiCl-KCl-LnCl(3)vertical bar Ln-Pb (solution). The temperature dependence of the activity coefficients of lanthanides is expressed by log gamma = a + b/T, where a and b are the constants. The excess enthalpy and entropy of lanthanides in the melt were obtained and compared with the literature values. The temperature dependence of the solubility of lanthanides was also obtained from the EMF values of the saturated solution.
