摘要
Systematic monitoring and evaluation of robot performance can ensure productivity and reduce operating costs. With the development of smart factories, massive amounts of historical operation data provide the basis for a comprehensive evaluation of robot performance. However, current research focuses on robot performance from a variety of angles and index construction has different forms, lacking a systematic and widely acceptable framework. To address this problem, this paper presents a Open System Architecture for Computer-Integrated Manufacturing (CIMS-OSA) framework based performance model for robots, which describes the robotic performance from a system perspective. Based on the proposed model, a performance index system for the six-axis robot is established based on the existing performance indexes, and the partial metrics were demonstrated. The analysis revealed that there is still research to be done on performance metrics that reflect real-time performance when performing tasks in complex environments.
