Comparing college libraries

In this article 30 libraries of Universities of Applied Sciences in Germany are compared on the basis of selected performance indicators. The goal of this analysis is to provide the participating libraries with clear evidence of the differences in performance within the group and show each library its relative standing in each of the performance categories. The resulting ranking lists show there are considerable differences among these libraries, in part due to differing resources and in part also due to differing allocation schemes.
