Anomalous diffusion in percolating magnets with fractal geometry

摘要：
High-resolution neutron inelastic experiments gave the first direct experimental evidence for anomalous spin diffusion in systems with fractal geometry. The diffusive motions of spins at high temperatures in the near-percolating 2D antiferromagnet, Rb2Co0.6Mg0.4F4, were observed. The scattering function integrated over momentum space in the paramagnetic phase reveals a long-tailed spectrum having the form of E-x superimposed on the Lorentzian line shape. This observation of a power-law decay function is compared with similar measurements on a pure compound Rb2CoF4. (C) 1998 Published by Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
