Objective: To discuss and explore the clinical effect of the treatment of 45 cases of primary dysmenorrhea (PD) by a combination of laser acupuncture with manipulation. Method: 90 cases of patient with PD were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group. The treatment group was treated by a combination of laser acupuncture with manipulation, the control group was treated by a manipulation therapy, the patients in both groups were analyzed in terms of clinical effect. Result: the post-treatment overall effective rate of treatment group was 93.33%, the control group, 82.22%; and the difference in VAS score between the two groups was statistically significant. Conclusion: using laser acupuncture to treat the patients with PD can improve the patient's clinical symptoms significantly, and it does a better job in treating part of the symptoms than the manipulation therapy alone, it is a safe and effective therapy. Dysmenorrhea is a common disease that is encountered in gynecological clinic. The incidence rate of dysmenorrhea in women in China is 33.19%, among the female college students, its incidence rate can be up to 56.4%, and primary dysmenorrhea (PD) accounts for 36.06% of overall incidence rate[11. The author treated the PD with laser acupuncture combined with manipulation and achieved a good curative effect, the process of which is now reported as follows:
