摘要
Occupational medicine specialists often demand an access to original medical records kept by patients' family physicians. Referring medical documentation is often not in accordance with the legislation, though the latter is neither precise nor complete. However, certain degree of professional communication between the specialists of occupational medicine and family physicians, regarding patients' medical records, is necessary. Legal, medical and forensic aspects of this communication are discussed and suggestions given for legally and professionally sustainable exchange of information between family physicians and specialists of occupational medicine. The need of legislative amendments is emphasised.
