摘要
Coating and cathodic protection are the most basic and traditional methods to counter corrosion. However, these methods have some limitations such as coatings defects and additional apparatus. Here, an attempt is made to overcome this issue by using Fe3O4@MoS2 core-shell based on sunflower oil coatings (SC-Core shell). The magnetically aligned structure of Fe3O4@MoS2 act as pathways to the flow of the photogenerated electrons and causing the effective mitigation of metal electrons movements for corrosion. Overall, SC-Core shell represents a promising coating because of their easy synthesis, excellent corrosion mitigation properties in outdoor/indoor environment.
