摘要
The organic farming has been developing very fast for last 20 years in the Czech Republic. Therefore, there has to be a sufficient amount of certified organic seeds available; the ratio of the certified organic seeds represents about 10 % nowadays. A reproduction of the certified organic seeds is very difficult. A questionnaire survey was organised among organic farmers. 138 filled questionnaires were sent back. Results of the survey showed that the organic farmers preferred hulled wheat species and spelt wheat in particular. As there is a lack of the organic seeds (as the respondents have stated in the questionnaires and databases of the certified organic seeds have shown), standard farming seeds and conventional untreated seeds are usually used to establish and form a crop stand. They are interested in an active application of the certified organic seeds (75 % of farms), there are, nevertheless, significant limits of such application: an unsufficient supply and high price.
