摘要
Si cameras for luminescence imaging of photovoltaic devices are compared. The Princeton Instruments PIXIS 1024BR camera is a scientific, cooled, Si-based camera that has back-illumination and deep-depletion for improved near-infrared sensitivity. This camera is compared to a consumer-grade Nikon D5100 camera with the internal short-pass filter removed. For a fraction of the cost, the Nikon camera shows reasonable comparison in image quality, but variations of luminescence intensity and exposure time give a less linear response than that of the PIXIS camera. For cost and performance between these examples, other camera choices, such as the Thor Labs 1501M, can provide good image quality and linearity.
