Yangtze River Delta Region Comparative Analysis of Innovation Efficiency--An Empirical Study Based on Panel Data

摘要
From the perspective of regional innovation efficiency, this paper selects Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provinces in China as the research object. Through comparing the innovation efficiency in the three regions, it aims to reflect the development condition of regional innovations, and assess their regional innovation performances. The innovation resources and outputs in Shanghai are both far ahead. But the innovation performances of Jiangsu and Zhejiang are not satisfactory. The different characteristics of innovation development in Yangtze River Delta, means that the development of innovation in Yangtze River Delta as a whole should complement with each other, strengthen the regional innovation cooperation, and avoid vicious competition and duplication.
