On New Innovation Management Models in the Knowledge Economy

The growing importance of knowledge as a production factor and as a determinant of innovation can be explained by the continuous accumulation of technical knowledge over time. The paper examines new innovation management models in the knowledge-driven economy. Innovation Management Techniques are critical to support the process of innovation in firms and help them in a systematic way to meet new market challenges. The aim of this study was to provide a comprehensive review of the scope, trends and major actors in the development and use of methods to manage innovation in the knowledge-driven economy. The paper concludes that IMTs are critical to increasing the company's competitiveness.
