High Refractive Index Hybrid Materials Prepared by the Sol-gel Method

摘要
Organic-inorganic hybrid materials have attracted considerable attention in recent years due to their novel physical and chemical properties. In this paper, an organic-inorganic hybrid material with high refractive index and high transparence was studied. The hybrid material was prepared by sol-gel synthesis of titanium butoxide and alkoxysilanes including diphenyldimethoxysilane (DPS) and gamma-Glycidoxypropyl trimethoxysilane (KH560). And the crack-free films were fabricated by spin coating. The refractive index can be tuned by adjusting the content of titanium dioxide. The chemical bond between the organic-inorganic phase and the structure were characterized by different techniques including IR, SEM, UV-vis and TG/DSC measurements.
