Distributed decision support in multi-agent environment for Semantic Web Services

摘要
Distributed decision Support (DDS) for monitoring and execution of Semantic Web Services within Semantic Web Services Unit (SWU) is discussed. SWU is aimed to assist fully networked enterprises. Semantic Web Services Unit is a multi-agent ontologically-based interoperable environment. DDS module contains service oriented rules. These rules are derived from the application requirernents and are based on the domain dependent and domain independent knowledge. They govern the monitoring and execution of services specifying under which conditions the services have to be selected for execution. The nonfunctional properties of services also have to be analyzed to instantiate the necessary management aspects, Semantic description is considered as a part of agent based functioning of networked enterprises. Agents perform activities in SWU that are aimed to exploit key features of Semantic Web-enabled Web Services in semi-automatic way.
