The aims of our study were to measure RNFL thickness by GDx and to asses the correlation between RNFL thickness and visual field loss in POAG, and to asses the value of GDx in POAG diagnosis. We found that RNFL thickness in POAG patients measured by GDx is smaller than in normal subjects. There are a significant correlation between RNFL abnormalities measured by GDx and visual field loss in POAG. GDx may be a very helpful tool in POAG diagnosis.
