Dammann grating design of domain-engineered lithium niobate for equalized wavelength conversion grids

摘要
We propose the use of Dammann gratings commonly used in paraxial diffractive optics to design periodically poled lithium niobate grating structures. It is shown how this tool allows for simple and flexible practical design of quasi-phase-matched grid responses in photonic devices with nonlinear optical frequency conversion where arbitrary individual weights can be assigned to the grid.
