摘要
Magneto-rheological damper is a kind of smart damping devices, which widely used in mechanical engineering and other fields. It can be used to achieve semi-active suspension control of vehicle chassis to improve vehicle riding comfort and safety. While, it is no doubt that the essential key to MR damper (Magneto-rheological damper) is Magnetic circuit design. According to the working principle of a MR damper, the requirements of magnetic circuit design were proposed in this paper. Then, magnetic material, coil turns and current intensity coil current were also designed in practice. Finally, the design of magnetic circuit in MR damper was analyzed in finite element method, and the result verified its efficiency.
