摘要
This article aims to present the results of a research developed with the Professional Master's Program in Education, from-the Federal University of Tocantins. The purpose of the research was to identify, together with a group of literacy teachers from the Santa Cruz High School College in Araguaina/TO, the conception of these about the use of digital media in the process of children's literacy. The theoretical reference for the understanding of the subject as well as the data analysis was based on authors such as: Fantin (2018), Santaella (2013), Soares (2009), Moran (2006) and Valente (2000), among other authors who have been discussing the issue of literacy in the age of digital media. As for nature, the research was applied in the exploratory form, with a qualitative approach, using the field research method and procedure and having as the instrument of data collection the use of semi-structured interview. The results identify that the teachers conceive the importance of integrating the digital media with the literacy practice and recognize that they cannot ignore that the children coexist with a computerized reality, however, after analyzing the answers, it was possible to conclude that, in daily practice, there are some contradictions between saying and doing, little appropriation and use of technologies.
