40Gbit/s soliton transmission field experiment over 1360km using in-line soliton control

摘要
In-line synchronous modulation was employed for the first time in a soliton transmission field experiment to extend the transmission distance. The transmission distance without in-line control was 1000 km and was extended to 1360 km by installing an in-line controller at 680 km.
