CONCERNING THE LITERARY HERITAGE OF THE ZEALOTS OF ANCIENT PIETY

The article is the first attempt to compile all the information concerning the literary heritage of the zealots of piety, taking into account the recently discovered works and new copies of the previously known texts. These literary monuments reflect the attitude of the zealots of piety to the deviations from the apostolic tradition in the church life. The paper offers genre and thematic characteristics of the collected pieces in the context of the historical and literary events of the mid-17th century.
