摘要：
Low-loss optical rib waveguides (2.5 mu m x 700 nm) have been fabricated on a silicon-on-diamond (SOD) substrate. 0.74 dB/cm propagation loss is measured. Benefits to heat dissipation for active photonic devices are studied. (C) 2011 Optical Society of America
