Equation-free system-level dynamic modeling and analysis in energy processing

摘要
The paper describes a method for system-level modeling and analysis in energy processing that does not rely on equations to capture global dynamics. Instead, it acts directly on component-level (micro) models, and thus avoids additional modeling assumptions that are often invoked on the system level to generate an explicit model. The equation-free framework is capable of directly answering key analytical questions about system dynamics, such as steady states, stability and bifurcations. The procedure is illustrated on a switched power electronic dc/dc converter.
