摘要
This paper presents a method for measuring the radar cross section of canonical targets in reverberation chamber. The target is fixed to a rotating wooden mast in front of a transmitting /receiving antenna. The principle of the method is to measure the system response in the frequency domain using a vector network analyzer and then apply the inverse fast Fourier transform to obtain the time-domain response. In the time domain response, the contribution of the target is identified and selected using Time-gating techniques. An experimental validation is realized on a rectangular metallic plate after comparison with a well-known computational electromagnetic software.
