摘要
This paper presents a theory on which to base intervention research in the construction industry, along with a hypothetical case study involving construction painters. The hypothetical case is based on data from research in a three-state study of construction painters currently under way. Difficulties facing researchers who conduct research in construction are described. Advantages of the intervention research design for construction are discussed. (C) 1996 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
